Why I Became a

Real Estate Agent…

After dedicating 9.5 years as an assistant to one of the top real estate agents in North Texas, I made the exciting decision to branch out on my own. This journey has been a culmination of years of learning, growth, and passion for the real estate industry. My extensive experience as an apprentice has equipped me with a deep understanding of various transaction types and has taught me the best ways to engage with clients, whether they are selling their property or seeking to purchase a new home.

Throughout my time in the industry, I’ve learned one crucial truth:

buyers want to buy, and sellers want to sell, and I want to help you get there.

My role is to effectively negotiate terms
that benefit both parties, ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience for everyone involved. The thrill of facilitating these transactions and helping clients achieve their real estate goals is what drives me.

A bit more about me…

I grew up on the West Coast and made my way to Texas via West Virginia. After graduating from Oregon State University, I proudly served on active duty and in the Reserves with the US Army, where I separated with the rank of Captain. For the next two decades, I focused on raising my
three children while working in the admissions departments of various colleges and technical
schools in Seattle and West Virginia. My children have since blessed me with seven grandchildren, who are now spread between West Virginia and Alaska, adding joy and vitality to my life.

Once I arrived in Texas, I embraced my love for photography by starting aXcess Photography, a real estate photography business that has flourished for over ten years. This venture not only honed my skills in capturing the essence of properties but also deepened my appreciation for the real estate market.
